The Lakers have proved themselves as the best team in the NBA. The reigning champions have started the season with the best record in the league at 12–4. They’re the only team in the NBA ranking in the top five in both offensive and defensive rating, ranking 4th in offensive rating and 1st in defensive rating, according to NBA Advanced Stats. The Lakers also rank 2nd in rebounding percentage. They’re basically the most complete team in the league, which has made them so successful. The Lakers have played eight road games this season, going 8–0 straight up and 6–2 against the spread.

Despite having a losing record at 7–8, the Bulls aren’t terrible. Their offense is slightly above average, ranking 11th in offensive rating. Their defense is where they really struggle, ranking 27th in defensive rating. LeBron James and Anthony Davis should be able to feast on the Bulls’ poor defense.

With James and Davis both being active for the Lakers, I don’t see the Bulls slowing them down. The Lakers are currently rolling, and there’s no way I’m putting my money on the 27th ranked defense to get in their way. The Lakers are 1st in net rating, while the Bulls are 22nd. This game shouldn’t be close at all. Back the healthy Lakers coming off a rest day to cover this with ease.
